We went there hearing about a new grocer and kitchen and we were excited to try a lot of things! We got beef tamales and about half the store and haven't stopped talking about it! We are excited to go back and enjoy more delicious food! Until we meet again beef tamales...

Love this place. Authentic flavours, ingredients and hospitality. Great frozen prepared foods ready to take home and enjoy too. The homemade salsas and chips are the bomb!

Restaurant/store is very small, making it challenging for more than 2 people at a time to browse or wait in line. It was very hot inside--a stuffy kind of heat.The store had plenty of authentic Mexican items offered that you won't find anywhere else in Newfoundland and Labrador.The store had things from pre-made food to candy to non-alcoholic drinks.The restaurant menu offered some appealing choices, but most of it included meat.The restaurant/store offers a few vegan/vegetarian food items.I ordered vegan tamles. They tasted okay. I would've liked more flavor, but they were alright.I'll try something different next time.I'm very appreciative to have access to authentic Mexican food on the island. We don't have enough cuisine from other countries around the world.

Just tried this new place today. Ordered the chicken flautas and veggie quesadillas and both were delicious! Nice little market in there too. Will definitely be back again!

We had the quesibirria, a burrito, tamales, and empanadas today. For the quality of the food and the price I can’t wait to go again plus include a little grocery shopping with the market items. I’m going to be thinking about those tamales until my next trip. Mamacita’s is a must try!

Really nice staff and service was quick. Seems to be authentic Mexican food at a decent price. I'm no expert on Mexican authenticity but it was tasty and fresh. I'll be heading back soon.
